Reporting to the Vice President, Service Planning, Customer Support Operations (CSO), the Manager, CSO Communications will be responsible for the creation, management and delivery of integrated employee communication plans for all of CSO.  In your role, you will provide expert and proactive communication advice, support and counsel to leaders throughout CSO on matters consequential to the organization. You will also lead a global team that supports the promotion of CSO's vision, mission, culture, values and strategic business objectives to the CSO organization,  while delivering World-Class Customer Support.&lt;p&gt;&lt;b&gt;Responsibilities:&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;Develop an annual CSO internal Communications Plan that aligns all communications with key CSO business objectives and supports organizational goals such as the provision of world-class customer support, employee engagement, the creation of new service models and offerings, the promotion of CSO as a key RIM business asset, etc.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Oversee the work of the CSO internal Communications Team globally, keeping the team focused and their work aligned to CSO's mission, vision, values and strategic business goals as well as the annual CSO Communication Plan.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Lead key strategic CSO communications projects such as employee-wide initiatives; leadership communication; communication out to the rest of RIM; and communications measurement, among other CSO-wide projects as identified in the annual CSO Communications Plan. &lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Promote the strategic importance of effective communication as a tool for leaders, employees and teams to successfully attain business objectives. &lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Assist senior leadership team with communications matters and issues, as well as plans that support their business goals. &lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Create communication channels and processes with other RIM units and services to ensure that teams understand CSO's goals, mandates, products and services (RIM Marketing and PR, NOC, OD, etc).&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Help employees understand their role in the company's performance and how they benefit from helping the company succeed.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Connect employees to the marketplace in which the company operates, including marketplace trends, competitor information via relationships with corporate marketing. &lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Provide global awareness of organizational goals and objectives and overall CSO culture and Brand through the use of various communication media. &lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Help keep the CSO Communications Team motivated through the provision of leadership, mentoring and support.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Promote continuous improvement and ensure Team objectives are on track and Key Performance Indicators are met.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;

&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;Post secondary education with further specialization in Marketing, Public Relations, Employee Relations or Communications, or equivalent combination of education and experience. &lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Minimum 5 years in a team leadership role (Manager level minimum). &lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Minimum 7 years' experience in all aspects of Communications including strategic employment communication.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Experience leading large global and virtual teams. &lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Proven track record in producing high quality and effective employee communications and strategies.  &lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;High degree of initiative, self-organization and self-management skills needed, in order to work with minimal direction while effectively responding to emerging issues.   &lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Strategic thinking and a desire for continuous improvement. &lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Customer Service orientation. &lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;High levels of diplomacy, tact, objectivity and meticulous attention to detail. &lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Motivated, resourceful, team player with proven troubleshooting and researching skills.  &lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;

This is an entry level/intermediate position. The SMG Social Media Analyst must possess proficiency in new and emerging technologies, and above all, love technology at the speed of change. 

The ideal candidate will be fast on his/her feet and willing to tackle a wide-array of challenges, handling a variety of in-bound inquiries, and have a deep understanding of the social media space that comes from active participation in online communities, blogs, presence applications, etc, and a comprehensive understanding of new and emerging technologies and how they impact business, products, markets, personnel, outside influencers, etc.

You must be able to work effectively and confidently recommend a variety of strategies and tactics to your team and our clients. 

You should have a degree or diploma from an accredited university or college and between one and three years of experience in one of the following fields:
&#8226; PR/Interactive/Advertising
&#8226; Communications/Technology
&#8226; Business/Systems Analysis or Consulting

&#8226; Gathering data around brand visibility, tonality and traffic using web-based monitoring tools
&#8226; Providing context and meaning to clients around new and emerging technologies and trends, both formally and in informal &#8220;POV&#8221; calls/emails
&#8226; Conducting research, interviews, and writing up your findings (including analysis of what it all means) about new media technology both for clients and as a contributor to the SMG company blog
&#8226; Organizing data and audit research into presentation reports/formats as required
&#8226; Building relationships with client contacts, identifying potential PR issues and providing proactive counsel as part of the SMG Crisis Management Team
&#8226; Delivering multiple projects for multiple teams on time and on budget
&#8226; Accurately estimating expenses and time allotment for tasks
&#8226; Proactively managing correspondence (i.e. daily updates, activity reports, etc.) 
&#8226; Participating in client presentations when necessary
&#8226; A solid understanding of the "big picture", both online and in business world

Develop and manage all internal and external marketing communication projects. This includes branding, messaging, and overall strategy. Of Sales and Marketing, responsibilities of the position will include the following:

Marketing Communications:
&#8226; Develop and manage marketing literature that communicates Econstruction&amp;rsquo;s message and positioning in multiple markets.
&#8226; Source, develop and manage necessary graphics to visually convey appropriate creative message in marketing literature, proposals, presentations, advertisements, trade show booths, event hand-outs etc.
&#8226; Conceive, write and edit content for a range of marketing and communications materials (internal &amp; external), liaising with company employees as necessary.
&#8226; Manage the company external website and internal wiki.
&#8226; Ensure consistency of brand message with all communication, and ensure key messages are integrated into all marketing communication materials.
&#8226; Coordinate and manage trade shows, events, and sponsorships.
&#8226; Source, coordinate and manage external resources as needed.
&#8226; Engage in direct marketing campaigns.
&#8226; Write web content and marketing summaries for each product and service.
&#8226; Balance strategic, tactical and operational issues while ensuring consistent standards in quality and delivery of marketing communication material.

Project Management:
&#8226; Create and lead formal and informal teams to ensure marketing communications are delivered consistent with the agreed upon strategy.
&#8226; Hands-on management of each marketing communication plans execution
