Working with field sales, sales management and professional services, you'll develop strategies and generate meetings for reps, as well as identify revenue opportunities at existing customers.

You'll be making calls, but you won't always be working 'cold'. You'll be supported by outsourced marketing communications that generate interest and awareness through breakfast learning sessions, mail campaigns and other lead-building activities.

The product is complex, but its value is obvious, the market potential is enormous and interest is high.

&#8226; Minimum of 3 years of sales experience; software sales experience preferred.  
&#8226; Mandatory: ability to communicate effectively, build relationships and close business over the phone.  
&#8226; Experience selling to Enterprise clients in Global 2000 companies. 
&#8226; Familiarity with web-based applications and MS Office required.

As an instrumental part of the sales team, you must possess a strong technical background with experience working in a customer-facing presales capacity:
&#8226; You will be supporting the sales team with web-based and in-person demonstrations
&#8226; Quickly and professionally respond to functional and technical requirements of Requests For Proposals 
&#8226; Develop and grow the assigned territory to meet/exceed sales targets while maintaining a high level of client satisfaction 
&#8226; Co-ordinate business development strategy with the Sales Team

&#8226; Generate and build key commercial relationships with target alliance partners 
&#8226; Implementing (installing and configuring) all products required to support the evaluation and/or proof of concept projects. This includes working with the customer/prospect to define a plan which best describes and details key objectives, success criteria, logistics and deliverables

&#8226; 3-5+ years of experience working in a pre-post sales environment 
&#8226; Skilled in &#8220;selling&#8221; technology products, managing objection-handling with senior level technology managers, as well as being comfortable working with customers in a consultative capacity 
&#8226; Hands-on knowledge of enterprise software solutions including systems management and/or infrastructure management (IBM, Tivoli, HP Openview, BMC, CA, etc.) 
&#8226; Practical experience with system management toolsets and disciplines &#8211; SNMP, WMI, SSH, MBs, etc. 
&#8226; Able to travel throughout the sales territory (25-50%)
