Paul Carvalho
Paul has over 15 years experience in the software industry, with eleven of those dedicated to Software Testing, Test Management, and Software Quality Assurance. An active member of the Software Testing community, Paul has published articles on "Internationalisation Testing" (for Better Software magazine) and "Hiring Software Testers" (for Red Canary), and maintains a resource web site to help people learn more about the Software Testing community and profession.
A passionate and entertaining speaker, Paul presents at various Tester and QA forums, including:
- The Kitchener-Waterloo Software Quality Association (KWSQA)
- Toronto Workshop on Software Testing (TWST)
- Software Testing in Financial Services (STiFS) Workshop in New York
- The Toronto Association of Systems and Software Quality (TASSQ)
Paul has a Bachelor of Science from the University of Waterloo, a Bachelor of Education from Queens University, and is a member of the Association for Software Testing (AST). He is currently a Tester and Test Manager at Covarity, the leading provider of commercial loan monitoring software solutions.
