The Opportunity

This role requires experience with J2EE persistence technology such as Entity Beans and Hibernate

As part of a 20-strong development team, you’ll apply your blend of DB2, Java and J2EE expertise in a flexible environment where start-from-scratch projects are the rule and not the exception.

You’ll be one of the team’s two database developers, and your experience will be integral to extending and streamlining the parent application—a web-based administration tool for the BlackBerry Enterprise Server—one of RIM’s flagship products.

Your daily duties will include designing and implementing components that make up the Enterprise Server platform. You’ll also be involved in Java (J2EE) solutions as they relate to persistence technology. Overall, this newly-created position will see you be more developer than database administrator.

This team will move to RIM’s new Mississauga office upon its completion

Offering flexible work arrangements, an established team, project leadership, and an application that will test and stretch your skills, this is an excellent opportunity to put Canada’s most important technology company on your resume.
