The Opportunity
Are you a developer with an affinity for software quality?

This is an opportunity to be involved in every aspect of testing BlackBerry Enterprise products, including component/protocol testing and test automation, planning and configuring appropriate test environments, test design and implementation.

Working with multiple development and testing teams, you’ll build your own java-based testing tools and scripts for upcoming product features, as well as develop test scenarios and implement/execute test scripts.

Who Should Apply
• You have a background with a combination of testing and development.
• Previous work experience with Microsoft Exchange ®, Lotus Domino ® or Novell GroupWise ® email systems is an asset.
• Associated degree in Computer Science or related Information Technology or related discipline.
• Skilled in object oriented design and is able to design / debug code in Java.
• Understands functional testing methodologies and principles.
• Able to create and execute automated test software based on high level test descriptions with little supervision.

This is definitely not a testing job, but an opportunity for skilled developers to make their mark in quality assurance by building the automation framework. Essentially we are seeking experienced developers in JAVA, C++ or C#, who demonstrate an interest in QA tools.
