The Opportunity
Create the recipe for a partner-focused professional services organization choosing the ingredients and putting in place the training needed to create this integral piece of the company pie.
After conquering new markets and customers through direct sales, this company is focusing on partner-based initiatives and is looking for a decisive leader to work with sales and the executive team to develop and execute ‘train-the-trainer’ programs that will help partners provide the service and support for the company’s core product.
Creation of the training tools, processes and infrastructure that will support activities of the Professional Services department are all part of your role, along with the maintenance of a high level of quality that your global customer base will come to expect.
Who Should Apply
You have 8 or more years of progressive professional services management experience or consulting experience, preferably in the Systems Management space. Your focus has been on partners – helping them resell products, selling services directly, and developing programs to help ensure that services are part of all partner deals.
Strong leadership and people management skills along with experience building highly effective service organizations through channel partners are a necessity for this role – you’ll be jumping in with both feet right from the start. You have a thorough understanding of the metrics that drive a professional services organization – with the track record of 100% customer satisfaction and above average profit margins to prove it.
