The Opportunity
Lead by example as you prospect for new business while expanding existing client relationships.
As a key point of contact between your team, clients and internal management, you’ll plan and execute sales strategies across the sales cycle. Your mandate: build new business while growing what you’ve got.
Meeting your targets will see you coach your team while personally reaching out to every level of client organizations – right up to ‘C’ level.
This role needs a multi-faceted sales professional who understands both their business and the art of leadership.

Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business and solution opportunities within assigned account base.
- Manage assigned accounts and ensure that relationships are maintained by educating the customer on all Hummingbird products and policies.
- Develop and execute Account Plans.
- Source and develop new business by developing relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Develop relationships with Key contacts i.e. Contract Managers, Standards Committees, CIO’s, Network Managers etc.
- Give presentations to current and prospective clients to inform them of new products and services.
- Prepare sales revenue forecasts by customer/prospect for current accounts and new business.
- Assist/coach less experienced sales team members in complex sales situations as required.
- Work with internal resources where needed to manage the above responsibilities.
Who Should Apply
- University degree and or equivalent.
- Five years relevant direct sales experience in the information management industry is mandatory.
- Demonstrated experience selling and negotiating software contracts to Fortune 500 accounts.
- Highly developed understanding of software markets and up-to-date knowledge of competitive software companies, particularly Business Intelligence.
- Advanced comprehension of current network and web based connectivity technologies.
- Ability to manage and bring to bear all or any company resources to effectively resolve any client issues.
