The Opportunity
Enjoy a role that will hone your business and planning skills as often as it engages your technical ability. Along with a team of five software developers, you will own and fix the business problem by being creative when developing new business practices. The applications that you build will be unique and original. You’ll be working to solve the real and ever-evolving challenges of property management while propelling yourself through the ranks of the development team, taking on the role of coach with an eventual progression to development manager or CTO. At the end of the day this role is about growth – the growth of a business – and your own maturation into a leadership and/or executive role.

Who Should Apply
You’re ambitious, forward-thinking and business minded. You’re a ‘what-if’ kind of person who is willing to ask questions and gets a charge out of identifying and solving business problems.

You’re a solid intermediate/senior level developer with complete SDLC skills and working knowledge of Java, J2EE, AJAX, TomCat, OpenSource tools, SQL Server, Oracle, and Oracle Financials.

You should have a strong developer’s resume showing 2-5 years of experience that includes climbing up the ranks. Your post-secondary degree reflects and supports your career choice. Ideally you’re coming from a finance applications software company.

You are business-minded and able to put business problems into context, taking into account the stakeholders and overall business intent of the application. Your development, operational and troubleshooting skills will still be called upon, sometimes into the evenings or on weekends as the situation requires.
