The Opportunity
As a member of the Development Solutions Group, the candidate will be responsible for the design, coding, and testing of tools to be used by Professional Services and by customers for performance and load testing of an Enterprise Server.

The candidate will also be responsible for analysis of customer test results, suggesting environmental and code optimizations, and working to produce best practice guidelines for overall system performance. As the BES becomes mission critical software, optimization and scaling of the BES is becoming a major concern for the company’s customer base.

Who Should Apply
The ideal candidate has extensive Web UI development experience (AJAX, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML). You will have solid experience in C/C++, Internationalization and Localization of Uls and UI rapid prototyping techniques. Experience working with Flash and Java UI development (e.g. Swing, AWT, SWT) is an asset.

Salary: Open, Employee Stock Purchase Plan, RSP matching and profit sharing.

Q: Who else is on the team?

A: The team is comprised of 7 developers/architects who come to RIM with a lot of performance experience. You would be exposed to groundbreaking performance testing that you wouldn’t see in other software companies.
