Broad Strategic Planning…
You’ll engineer a cohesive, fluid partner program framework, including business practices, processes and content, integrating OpenText’s many competencies and global partner base.
Your objective: build a partner environment primed for scalable, agile, programmatic roll-out across geography and lines of business.
…Focused Execution
Working with Alliance and Partner managers, you’ll identify global requirments and lead the creation of program architecture and key deliverables, calling upon corporate and partner marketing and coordinating with field and sales management to refine and improve tools, channel programs and campaigns.
You’ll define and integrate partner requirements—ensuring strategic and ground-level “buy-in” from cross-functional teams. And you’ll identify ‘capability gaps’ that present program opportunities for new and existing partners.
Your key metrics include partner effectiveness and satisfaction and you’ll work to develop and refine these programs.
Other Challenges:
- Oversee partner portal content management and partner communications frameworks
- Develop support partner programs with built-in metrics
- Perform analyses of competitive Partner Programs
- Develop and maintain a monitoring strategy to ensure partner satisfaction and rapid time-to-sales-effectiveness
You bring a minimum of 5 years of experience in channel programs/marketing programs.
Thorough understanding of enterprise software industry, channels, and sales. Global/distributed experience preferred.

- Ability to adapt and respond to a variety of business issues and changing priorities
- Experience supporting sales teams and developing tools and materials
- Strong business, communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with team members, Partners and all resource levels including senior leadership
- High degree of creativity and resourcefulness in decision making and problem solving
- English as primary language; additional languages will be considered an asset
