The Opportunity

Develop and manage all internal and external marketing communication projects. This includes branding, messaging, and overall strategy. Successful execution will rely on your ability to convey the benefits of technology-based services that solve the challenges of the construction industry. Reporting directly to the V.P. Of Sales and Marketing, responsibilities of the position will include the following:

Primary Responsibilities
Marketing Communications:
• Develop and manage marketing literature that communicates Econstruction’s message and positioning in multiple markets.
• Source, develop and manage necessary graphics to visually convey appropriate creative message in marketing literature, proposals, presentations, advertisements, trade show booths, event hand-outs etc.
• Conceive, write and edit content for a range of marketing and communications materials (internal & external), liaising with company employees as necessary.
• Manage the company external website and internal wiki.
• Ensure consistency of brand message with all communication, and ensure key messages are integrated into all marketing communication materials.
• Coordinate and manage trade shows, events, and sponsorships.
• Source, coordinate and manage external resources as needed.
• Engage in direct marketing campaigns.
• Write web content and marketing summaries for each product and service.
• Balance strategic, tactical and operational issues while ensuring consistent standards in quality and delivery of marketing communication material.

Project Management:
• Create and lead formal and informal teams to ensure marketing communications are delivered consistent with the agreed upon strategy.
• Hands-on management of each marketing communication plans execution
• Creative concepts, copy, graphic design, and all aspects of production through delivery.
• Manage vendors to ensure timely receipt of deliverables and adherence to strategy.
• Monitor and track the effectiveness of marketing and communications programs.
• Understanding of technical content and context of material
• Commit to enhancing business and construction industry knowledge through learning and development opportunities.

The role has no direct staff, but works closely with internal and external resources.

Who Should Apply
• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills, with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to negotiate and influence without having management authority.
• Have a high level of initiative and ability to work independently.
• University Degree or equivalent experience preferably in Sales and Marketing.
• 3 years marketing, ad design & event coordination experience.
• Proven track record in successfully designing and implementing marketing communications plans.
• Advanced level of proficiency with MS Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Web design experience and capability including proficiency in: Illustrator, Photoshop, In Design, Dreamweaver, or equivalent
• Excellent organizational abilities and strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
