This question was born from a recent conversation with a headhunter in the emerging tech industry.
She said that many of the people who were laid off in the October ‘08 to January ‘09 layoff sweeps are still looking for work. However, anecdotal evidence from her and other recruiters suggests that the bloodletting has been cauterized.
