One Red Question: What are your favourite technology-related bookmarks?
on April 01, 2008 - Comments (View)Big news sites or blogs? Slashdot or Engadget? What's your gold standard for tech news, product reviews and business perspectives?
Simple question this week, I know. But a relevant one in a million-channel infoverse.
So where do you go for your tech fix?

I read tomorrow’s news. The trick is to go where the market is more advanced. For instance, if you are into consumer electronics, http://www.akihabaranews.com/en/ . One step beyond that is looking at trends in more advanced markets: http://web-japan.org/trends/index.html , http://trendwatching.com/trends/ . One step beyond that is reading research projects which leverage trends in more advanced markets: http://web-japan.org/trends/07_sci-tech/sci071003.html .
How to reduce heat dissipation from electronic circuits to nearly 0%? Is WiMax IPTV sustainable? Is manned flight based on AA-batteries possible? How to replicate tactile feedback on a touch screen? Korea offers residential Internet with 100Mbps downlink/uplink at $42 CAD, do they have bandwidth caps? The answers are out there. Stop suffocating yourselves with the same groupthink ideas.
