The Opportunity
Make a difference in this hands-on Toronto opportunity. Become an evangelist for the applications and oversee every aspect of their marketing. Memova Mobile, Messaging and Anti-Abuse are globally used and this could be your chance to increase their visibility and usage in the Canadian market.

This position is responsible for developing creative and focused outbound marketing programs, messaging and positioning. Work closely with sales to drive revenue and customer adoption, product management to manage roadmaps and corporate marketing to drive marketing campaigns and programs.

You’ll have the opportunity to touch every part of the campaign from PR, to packaging, to web content. You’ll develop sales plans, presentation and training events, and work hand in hand with product management to maximize ROI and demand. This company has been in the industry for ten years and has a strong track record of success.

Who Should Apply
You have five years experience in the high tech or messaging sector working with consumer segments in broadband or fixed line operators. You communicate and relate well to outward and inward facing clients and colleagues. The icing on the cake would be your consumer marketing and anti-spam experience.

The product marketing for Critical Path is “made in Canada”. You’ll be the subject matter expert and evangelist for all fixed line partners around the globe.

What to expect in the first 90 days:

You will hit the ground running! Expect your first 3 months to be pretty intense while you’re brought up to speed on the product. You’ll look at how they are packaging the products; taking it to consumers; pricing in the marketplace; review existing collateral; sales pipeline. You will be viewed as fresh eyes… looking for different areas of opportunity.

This is a flat organization – not hierarchical so good access across the company. The VP of Marketing and CTO are both based in the Toronto office… great visibility!
