The Opportunity
• Identify and Win New Direct Accounts – Primary focus is Global 3000
• Work with Assigned Account Development Reps to follow up on Marketing Generated Leads
• Work with Marketing, Pre-Sales and Management to identify and develop new customer targets
• Develop and Execute Account Plans
• Communicate Value Proposition via multiple delivery channels (Face-to-Face, Phone, Email, Customer Presentation, Web Conference)
• Execute A Consultative Sollution Selling Approach
• Participate in Sales Meetings with Management
Who Should Apply
• 8+ Years Industry Experience in Product Sales for Software Companies
• 2+ Years Systems Management Specific Experience
• History of Selling to IT Engineering, Operations and/or DataCenter Management
• Experience with Selling To Director, VP, SVP and possibly CIO level
• History of Selling to Global 3000 companies
• Track Record of Closing Deals in six and possibly seven figure range
• Track Record of Achieving Quotas of $1m or more
• Previous Exposure to Sales Methodologies (ex. Solution Selling, Major Account Sales, etc.)
• Track Record of Selling to customers more than once while at different firms
• Excellent Communication Skills
• Very Good Grasp of Technology Previously Sold
• Exposure to Sales Involving Multiple Stake Holders
• Ability to Present in front of the Customer
• Previous Exposure To Consultative Selling
