Candidates should have prior project successes combined with exceptional written and oral communication skills and have the drive and commitment that it takes to thrive in a startup environment.

• Minimum 7+ years design and development experience creating object oriented applications using Java and J2EE architecture (portfolios/samples will be requested during the interview process)
• Experience working for a start-up company -– understands what it takes to be part of a small team with big responsibilities
• Experience in transactional or fraud environments will be an asset
• Must have strong leadership skills while remaining very hands-on with the technology
• Ideally will have an Engineering degree and/or a Computer Science with Mathematics or Physics minor
• Experience with data structures and algorithm design/development
• Experience with code optimization and application performance profiling
• Experience with Security Design and Implementation, ranging from security authentication and authorization services to data encryption
• Experience with delivery of business logic comprising complex mathematical algorithms
