The Opportunity
As a member of the Performance Testing team, you’ll contribute to the development of one of the world’s most innovative products. Working with your expert team, as well as other groups within RIM, you’ll test the quality and functionality of all new releases and features of BlackBerry products. The role will be busy and varied as test plans, resource allocation, bug reporting, and results gathering orbit in and out of your responsibilities. By creatively solving both acute and long-term problems, you’ll make your mark on products used by millions of consumers worldwide.

Who Should Apply
Along with a bachelor’s degree in computer science or an engineering related discipline (or an equivalent combination of education and experience), you have three or more years experience in a testing field, preferably with fundamental understanding of systems, database, and web application testing.

You’ve worked extensively in a Windows operating system environment, with knowledge of wireless technology, DevTrack defect management tool, and familiarity with any of the following: Microsoft Exchange, Lotus Domino or Novell Groupwise email systems. Experience with MS SQL, DB2, and TOAD database tool, along with test tools such as Test Director/Quality Centre, WinRunner, LoadRunner or Rational Robot are assets.
