The Opportunity
We are looking for people with the right blend of skills, education, experience and attitude to join our Black-Box Exploratory Testing team. We are expanding and need great people to help lead us into the future. Our test methodologies focus on identifying risks, finding bugs and producing better results, while encouraging learning, critical thinking, collaboration and creativity to get the job done. This is an opportunity to further your testing skills and knowledge as you manage the testing effort and explore new techniques and technologies to help keep the testing effort fresh and effective.

• Perform Testing as required
• Demonstrate leadership and professionalism in the quality of your work
• Develop and manage Testing Strategies to meet the priorities, coverage and timelines required to achieve business objectives
• Coach junior team members and help maintain high Quality work standards through Review sessions
• Keep abreast of the latest technologies and techniques to identify process improvement opportunities
• Have fun while getting the job done

Who Should Apply
• Knack for breaking software. You enjoy testing and have fun exploring systems
• Ability to observe what’s going on and to notice what others miss
• Outstanding oral and written communication skills
• University degree in Engineering, Science or equivalent.
• A commitment to continuing education by attendance at conferences, workshops, self-study, etc.
• A minimum of 4 years software testing experience, with some of that in a leadership role
• Knowledge of Software Quality Assurance and Software Development methodologies

Assets:
• Accounting or other Financial Industry experience
• Prior Web-based testing experience, especially in areas of Usability, Security or Performance
• Experience with scripting languages (Ruby, JavaScript, etc.)
• Experience working with relational databases (MS-SQL, Oracle)
• QA/Testing Community involvement – possibly through participation in discussion forums, publication, or giving presentations related to Software Testing or Quality Assurance
