This role will see you work among talented professionals and mentor junior testers as you apply your skills and methodologies across the product lifecycle.

Responsibilities include:
• Analysis and estimates of product quality and status
• Researching and resolving technical problems related to the product or involved technologies
• Developing, updating and reviewing test requirements and test cases
• Executing functional, installation, regression, security, integration, stress and performance tests
• Providing ideas and suggestions on QA processes and QA team improvement
• Working on implementation strategy with other teammates and managers, analyzing and suggesting improvements in Opalis products
• Work in close partnership with development team, product managers, project managers and technical support.

Who Should Apply
This position is suitable for experienced QA professional with proven track record in testing and releasing commercial software products. The job requires an energetic approach, curiosity, an eye for detail, and good problem solving skills.

Must Have
• BS in Computer Science or equivalent
• 2+ years experience with enterprise applications testing, not limited to UI/front-end verifications.
• Understanding of software life cycle, QA methodologies and processes.
• 2+ years hands on experience with Windows 2000 / 2003 Servers, including experience with Performance Monitor, debugging tools, Windows Resource Kit Tools, Registry, Services and Processes
• Good knowledge of SQL language and RDBMS applications
• A good understanding of algorithms
• Working experience or knowledge of TCP/IP, networking and N-tier Client/Server applications
• Familiarity with SNMP, FTP, SMTP, SSH, HTTP/HTTPS, SSL protocols

Nice-to-Have
• 2+ years experience or in-depth knowledge of one or more RDBMS: Oracle, MS SQL, MySQL
• In-depth understanding of Windows technologies: Active Directory, COM/DCOM, MSI, Security model, WMI
• UNIX / Linux administration experience
• Knowledge of programming or scripting languages, e.g. C#, Java, VBScript, Ruby
• Experience with performance testing of software applications
• Knowledge of Network Monitoring and Systems Management software, Firewalls, Mail Servers and Clients
• Proficiency with Run Book Automation software and workflow patterns
• Understanding of ITIL Service Support processes.
• Knowledge of one or more: virtualization, problem, incident, configuration, change and release management applications.
