POSITION SUMMARY
The Senior Solutions Architect will work with RIM’s enterprise customers to understand their mobility challenges and develop solutions to be implemented by RIM’s Professional Services Organization. This role involves selling at different levels of a customer organization including at the CXO level and working in close collaboration with the account team to drive extension and expansion of services discussions. The Senior Solutions Architect must have a total picture on service management, service design & development, service delivery, IT alignment and project & program management. Successful candidates will be responsible for;

• Recognizing opportunities, working with customers to obtain buy in and convert opportunities to sold engagements
• Providing thought leadership in Solution Architecture and Design for the mobility space
• Participating in risk and quality reviews of projects and deliverables
• Participating in the Statement of Work generation in support of proposal/contract creation
• Remaining involved in all phases of the project to ensure complete customer satisfaction
• Delivering articulate and effective strategic presentations to audiences of all sizes

• Verbal and written to both technical and non-technical personnel
  
• 10+ years experience in enterprise IT architectural design, implementation and integration
  
• 10+ years of current or relevant experience with the following technologies:
  
• Microsoft Exchange Server, IBM Domino, Novell Groupwise
  • Wireless communications
    
  • Microsoft Windows Server, Microsoft SQL Server
    
  • SANs
