The Opportunity
Apply your fluent understanding of French, Italian, German, Spanish or Japanese as you help the Blackberry experience bridge both cultures and continents.
Language skills are key for this role – a background in technology will help determine whether you’re a senior or intermediate candidate (the team has openings for both).
This is a great career opportunity for someone with a strong desire to move up to bigger software testing challenges for an international company with a global perspective.
Responsibilities:
As a member of the Localization and Internationalization Software Verification and Validation team, you’ll develop, maintain, and execute tests on several elements of the BlackBerry solution, with a focus on functional testing in a localized language and environment.
You will be encouraged to take ownership of your assignments and to seek productive solutions to common testing challenges such as multiple testing environments, regression testing and testing strategies for new features. Senior team members will be responsible for overall strategy across several teams and assurance of appropriate coverage of test cases.
Who Should Apply
You have:
• Fluency in one or more of: French, Italian, German, Spanish, or Japanese
• 2 years of work experience in software testing or a related role.
• Experience in a technology or related discipline and relevant software testing experience.
• Previous work experience with localization or internationalization testing.
