The Opportunity
As a member of this core server development team, you will be responsible for the research, design, implementation, testing and documentation of the Installation & Configuration components of the software. Your previous experience developing C++ and Windows Installer tools to configure and install Enterprise class servers will be put to use in an environment using state of the art software practices.
You will design and implement the Installation & Configuration software in C+/VC/Window Installer/InstallShield/WiX.
You will also be responsible for Unit testing, integration testing, and debugging of software componentsWho Should Apply
The ideal candidate will come from an enterprise software company (at least 3 yrs in a development role) and have a background developing the installation and configuration solution.
+, UI Design (WIN32, MFC, ActiveX, COM), and Source Code versioning (Perforce).
You are also a great communicator with good trouble shooting and problem solving skills.
Ideally you also have:
• Relational databases (ODBC, ADO, SQL)
• Previous experience in C#.NET, WISE, Perl.
• Multithreaded design
• Previous experience in fast paced, deadline oriented environment
• Previous experience in large software projects .
