The Opportunity
As a part of the BlackBerry Enterprise Solution Group, the new candidate will be working in a small team to design and develop a brand new application for the Enterprise Server Solution. This application will automate the installation and configuration of the BlackBerry Enterprise Server. The main focus of the design of this application will be stability, sustainability, and robustness.
Who Should Apply
The successful candidate must have the ability to communicate effectively with all necessary groups including project managers and team leads in order to gather all necessary requirements. As this is a new application, the candidate will be required to perform extensive unit testing to ensure that this product can be released for internal product testing.
- Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent
- Solid design skills and understand OOP concepts thoroughly
- 3+ years experience in Visual Studio C++ programming on Windows NT/2000/XP
- Multithreaded design experience is required
- User Interface design
- Windows Installer/WIX experience
- Worked with revision control software and understand the underlying behavior
- Strong communication, problem solving and analytical skills
