As part of the Performance Engineering team, you’ll ensure that the BlackBerry brand exceeds the performance and reliability demands of millions of users and world-class companies.

Working with RIMs ever-evolving hardware and software products, you’ll assess the performance and quality of load testing tools, develop testing plans, analyze test results and work with developers to resolve issues.

• University degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent.
• 1+ years related experience in testing of enterprise products (new grads welcome).
• Excellent problem solving skills.
• Solid understanding of multi-threaded application (thread synchronization, time slicing, context switching etc…).
• Experience developing test plans and executing test cases.
• An asset would be experience in collecting and analyzing performance related data.
• Basic understanding of client-server/distributed architectures, computer hardware and memory management.
• Excellent communication skills.

• Knowledge of debugging tools (umdh, userdump, windbg, etc…)
• Load testing experience
• Knowledge of mail server platforms (Exchange, Domino or GroupWise)
