You’ll be selling the big kid on the product block: easily deployed, quickly integrated, and flexible/mature enough to meet customers’ needs—so you don’t have to twist their needs to align with your product.

This role offers stability, an ‘A-level’ support team, and roughly 40-60% travel (lower for those working from Ottawa).

Responsibilities

  • Create and present tailored, solution-oriented demonstrations of products along with business value proposition
  • Prepare and deliver formal technical and business presentations to prospects and customers
  • Work closely with Sales Account Executives to assist in pre-sales activity by providing the technical recommendations and configuration scenarios to prospective customers
  • Research and respond to technical inquires from customer and prospects including RFP/RFI and RFQs
  • Provide feedback to management and development staff on future product enhancements, quarterly win/loss reports, etc
  • Travel within assigned region and to company/industry events as required

Who Should Apply

  • Fluent in both English and French
  • Strong pre-sales experience
  • 3-5 years direct software (or related) pre-sales support experience
  • 7-10 years total technical/sales experience
  • Consulting and functional expertise in the SAP and/or Microsoft SharePoint solutions a plus
  • Imaging, archiving, electronic information management, or workflow specific solutions a plus
  • General knowledge of Document Management and scanning systems
  • Ability to interact at Corporate Executive level
  • Ability to present to VP/C level audiences effectively
  • UNIX and Windows (configuration, installation, network) knowledge including experience in the installation and configuration of UNIX and Windows programs
  • Knowledge of various ECM technologies and business processes

 

Nice to Have:

  • Database knowledge (SQL, Oracle)
  • Web technologies like J2EE, .NET, NetWeaver
  • SAP experience a plus
  • Microsoft SharePoint experience a plus
