Bring your SAP and IXOS expertise to bear in a role that will make you a go-to technical and pre-sales resource for one of Open Text’s most important vertical markets.
Alternately applying technical, cognitive and personal skills, you’ll solve business problems for – and get in front of – customers and prospects. Defining specs and reqs, building demos, and leading presentations are all in a day’s work.

- Work with Sales Account Executives to assist in pre-sales activity by providing the technical recommendations and configuration scenarios to prospective customers
- Research and respond to technical inquires from customer and prospects including RFP/RFI and RFQs
- Provide feedback to management and other parts of the organization (e.g. future product enhancements, quarterly win/loss reports, internal teams)
- Prepare and deliver formal technical and business presentations to prospects and customers
- Map business requirements for customers and prospects to Open Text features and functions
- Travel within assigned region
Who Should Apply
- 3-5 years direct software (or related) pre-sales support experience
- 7-10 years total technical/sales experience
- Consulting and functional expertise in the SAP and IXOS Product arena a must
- Imaging, archiving, electronic information management, or workflow specific solutions a plus
- UNIX and Windows (configuration, installation, network) knowledge including experience in the installation and configuration of UNIX and Windows programs
- Bachelors or advanced degree preferably related to Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
