About the Company
If you work in technology in Southwestern Ontario, you’ve probably heard of Red Canary. We reach nearly 10,000 software professionals in the GTA and Golden Triangle, sharing information and profiling execuitives, technologies and companies. Oh, and job postings too.

So many postings, in fact, that they could use a manager.

Not Your Typical Recruiter Role
We need someone special to look after the readers and employers who connect through our jobs area. The job will include pre-screening, interviewing and liasing with our account managers and their clients. But it will be much more than that.

Unlike most recruiting roles, Red Canary will actually bring people to you. You’ll spend less time hunting people and more time figuring out where they fit.

You don’t need to be a salesperson: this position calls for a charismatic evangelist who can network, spot talent, identify trends and talk startups.

For example, you’ll help Red Canary’s writers generate leads on new ideas and growing companies, and help advertisers create compelling job descriptions that attract the best people.

About You

To be comfortable and thrive in this role, you’ll need at least 3 years of recruiting experience- ideally, but not necessarily in technology. You should be comfortable speaking to all levels of an organization, including the executives. Talent relationship management is second nature for you.
