Do you think it’s time for a change from selling software? How would you like to sell financing solutions for early to mid-stage technology and life sciences companies?

This well-regarded company boasts a current capitalization of $300+ million from blue-chip sponsors in Canada and the U.S. It offers creative financing in the form of venture loans, working capital and equipment loans for up and coming entrepreneurial companies.

The Opportunity
The job calls for a hunter to network across Canada and the Northeast in search of promising companies that require assistance with capital – up to $5 million. For the right company, the value proposition is easily justified. The sales cycles are short, in the neighborhood of 4 to 6 weeks with the key decision makers being entrepreneurial CEOs, CFOs and Venture Capitalist companies.

Who Should Apply
You’ve made good money selling software to the enterprise. The experience has taught you how to prospect and qualify, work with committees, carve out solutions and close big deals. You’ve been there and done that. Now, you want something a little different that builds on your experience.

The total compensation for your first year includes a base salary and commissions in the $200 – $250K range. As well, you’ll be granted favourable participation in the company’s Employee Stock Ownership Plan.
